Founded by Daniel Farber in 1990, Bright Lights USA manufactures mechanical and electromechanical components for manufacturers and governments across the world. Based in Barrington, New Jersey, Bright Lights USA supports the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA).
NJBIA recently held a workshop for small businesses on how to grow through government procurements. Aimed at businesses owned by women and minorities, the workshop was held at NJBIA’s Trenton headquarters and was hosted in partnership with The College of New Jersey’s Small Business Development Center.
Over 50 attendees showed up for the workshop to learn from procurement experts about the procedures and requirements for doing business with municipal, state, and federal government agencies. They also learned about affordable services designed to simplify public procurement, where to find procurement opportunities, high-value certifications that improved procurement competitiveness, and best business practices for procurement success. The workshop reinforced NJBIA’s mission to provide value and essential information to support business growth.
